This amazing specialty microlot on offer is limited to only a few precious bags. We will roast only until stocks last on this one. From the lovely Kayanza Province in Burundi these farmers focus on strict quality control through hand picking and sorting before it is sent to the mill for further analysis. These red bourbon coffee trees are grown in red volcanic deep soil with allivial loams at an elevation of 1774 metres above sea level, producing a well balanced cup with body, acidity, flavour, aftertaste and aroma all scoring in the high 8 out of 10. The internal cupping score of 87+ represents the excellence of this coffee crop.

Cup Profile -A bright sweet cup with a nippy stone fruit acidity and black tea flavour. Syrupy sticky body leads to a long caramel and cream finish.

Roast -Optimal coffee roast suits a light to medium roast.
